City-Wood consists of a robust Douglas wood panel that obscures the view of the construction site. The robust wooden planks provide optimum strength in combination with the sturdy steel frame. The natural look of the material provides a calm and pleasant environment for neighbours and passers-by. It is also a sustainable solution and fits your SROI goals. The City-Wood fences go well with Combi-Wood temporary fencing, which is partly equipped with a steel mesh. This provides a view into the construction site at the places you want.
The wooden panel is made by people reintegrating into the labour market, providing the answer to SROI issues. Part of the rent or sale price of this fence can be used as an SROI offset in various municipalities. Denting or damaging the wooden panel is extremely difficult. In addition, panels can be replaced with very little effort.
The development of this product has been a collaborative effort between Heras and Groene Bouwhekken. We believe everyday products, such as temporary fencing, can offer integral sustainable added value. Groene Bouwhekken has proven social credentials and a fantastic vision of working for the benefit of all in society. For this product, they take care of the wooden panel, flower boxes (planters), and collaboration with local institutions for maintenance of the plants. The strong steel frame in which the Douglas wood panels are fitted are made in the Heras factory. Heras then takes care of the logistics to get them to and from the customer.
Specifications“The terrain enclosure must be easy to install and move because the security needs of the organizers may change.”
