Blocks are placed on the strip for added stability. The brace base construction is mainly advised if maximum stability is required and when using Cityfence. The construction has to be used in combination with a strut tube, couplers and concrete blocks. The base plate has an integrated anti-lift device.

We recommend placing a strut on every third fence on open fences and to brace every fence that is intended to obstruct views from the outside by a strut. The strut is attached to the fence by means of a coupler. The lower side of the strut is secured by a soil pin. If this is not possible, e.g. if the surface is paved, then use a strut plate with two concrete blocks to secure the strut.

Closed construction and City Fences must be shored up one-on-one. Even open mobile construction fencing catches quite a bit of wind. Look at the fence from the diagonal: the mesh looks smaller from there, it appears almost closed. And the wind can also blow from that direction. That is why open construction fences are equipped with construction fencing struts every three fencing panels.
